This privacy policy covers both the animegirlfeet.com website and the animegirlfeet.com browser extension. The short version is that we don't collect any personal information about you, and we never have.
The animegirlfeet.com website converts links from supported platforms (X, YouTube, Pixiv, Spotify, MyAnimeList, AniList, Gelbooru, and Twitch) into versions that embed properly in Discord and other chat apps. When a link is converted, we fetch publicly available metadata from the relevant platform in order to build the embed. We do not store any information about who converted the link or where it came from.
We use a global counter to track the total number of embeds generated. This is a single number stored in a database with no connection to any individual user.
The animegirlfeet.com browser extension reads the URL of your current browser tab to check whether it is a supported platform, then converts it to an embed-fixed link and copies it to your clipboard. This all happens locally inside your browser. The extension does not send your browsing history, your URLs, or any other data to our servers or to any third party.
The extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information whatsoever.
We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or any other mechanism to identify or track visitors.
When generating an embed, the worker fetches publicly available data from the platform whose link you shared. For example, converting a Spotify link causes our server to fetch metadata from Spotify's public embed endpoint. This is no different from any browser visiting that page. We do not share your data with these services beyond what is implied by fetching their public endpoints.
We use DeepL for automatic translation of non-English tweet text. Only the text of the tweet is sent to DeepL for translation. No identifying information is included.
Embed metadata (such as tweet content) is cached temporarily to improve response times and reduce load on upstream APIs. Cached data expires automatically and is not retained indefinitely. We do not store any personally identifiable information.
This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Given that we collect no personal data, we don't anticipate needing to make significant changes.
